By listening to the two podcasts from "This American Life" and "How Stuff Works" I was able to really understand the pacing of podcasts.  Neither podcast sounded scripted, but rather had the feel of a productive and intelligent conversation.  Also, music and pauses were used to emphasize idea changes as well as to introduce and close the podcast.  The speakers spoke at a relaxed pace, making it easy to listen too, and often interspersed humor into their episodes so that it was entertaining to listen.  I hope to apply these different characteristics to the pod I will create for class.

My favorite Flash project of Digital Media was the Flash advertisement we created.  I enjoyed this project because we were able to combine all the tools we learned in class to create something that expressed our own interests!  Some of the new tools I applied were shape tweens and motion tweens to create effects with color, shape, and position changes.  This project really helped summarize what I learned during this unit ... which was a ton!
